This policy explains what information OpsDrive Pro collects and how it is used. OpsDrive Pro is operated by John Preston, who is the data controller for account information; for customer records you enter, you control that data and we process it on your behalf to provide the service.
Information we collect
- Account details: name, email address and login credentials (or Google sign-in).
- Business details: business name, HQ address, services, prices and travel-fee settings.
- Records you enter about your customers: names, phone numbers, service addresses, appointments, quotes, waitlist entries and receipts.
How we use it
Only to provide and improve the service: calculating travel fees, scheduling, cancellation recovery, receipts, support and billing. We do not sell your data or your customers' data.
Service providers
- Paddle processes subscription payments as Merchant of Record. OpsDrive never sees or stores your full card number.
- Mapbox receives addresses to calculate driving distances.
- Secure cloud hosting and database providers store your data.
Legal basis
We process data to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in securing and improving the service, and to meet legal obligations. Data may also be shared with professional advisers or authorities where required by law.
Security and isolation
Each business's records are isolated so other accounts cannot view or edit them. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
Retention and your choices
We keep data while your account exists. You can request a copy or deletion of your account and records by emailing us. Text messages to customers are sent from your own device; OpsDrive does not send them on your behalf.
